The purpose of the TECH4USE project is to investigate the application of selected digital technologies (drones, 3D modelling, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence) in service industries and in education. An appropriate research approach will be employed, drawing on both statistical methods and qualitative research methods. The research plan will be implemented through four phases: Phase 1 – analysis and review of the scientific literature related to the project topic; Phase 2 – development of a questionnaire for primary research; Phase 3 – implementation of the primary research and analysis of the results; Phase 4 – dissemination of the project results. Measurable indicators of the project outcomes include: published scientific papers in journals indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science (WoS), including A1 journals, as well as in corresponding conference proceedings; the establishment of the project website and the creation of social media profiles; the establishment of a digital technologies laboratory; and the organization of a final conference/workshop related to the project. In addition to the above, the practical application of the research results will be demonstrated through cooperation with relevant stakeholders from the private and public sectors. Furthermore, the project will focus on developing innovative recommendations and tools for the use of digital technologies in everyday business practice. Educational materials and a workshop will be made available to the wider public to raise digital literacy and provide insight into the potential of using these technologies in education and service industries. The project also aims to establish connections with international research initiatives.
